While the chattering classes gasp and wheeze, I view this as a positive development:
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s job running the State Department just got considerably more difficult. The entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior Foreign Service officers who don’t want to stick around for the Trump era.
Nope, probably makes his job easier. Cleans out the upper strata, opens up opportunities for promotions, etc.
By the way, I think the better word is „retire,“ not „resign.“ They won’t be starving, and shivering in cardboard boxes.
